Deontay Wilder breaks arm again ahead of rematch, just in case

Following news that the World Boxing Council (WBC) has sanctioned a rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury after their titanic battle at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Deontay Wilder is reported to have immediately broken his arm again, just in case.

Shortly after fumbling his way to a questionable draw against Fury in their first fight, the 'Bronze Bomber' took to social media to tell fans he'd broken his right arm just 12 weeks before the fight, despite using that right hand to obliterate an unwitting ESPN mascot around six weeks before the fight and posting several training videos thereafter showing off his immense power and apparently sending his trainers to the hospital.

The Alabama fighter had this to say:

"I just want to make sure I have that excuse ready again when Fury gives me another boxing masterclass.

"I'll probably ask Mauricio [Sulaiman, president of the WBC] to pay off a couple of judges again too, and maybe ask for a referee who does super fast 10 counts, but I thought I may as well break the arm again - my fans really bought that last time. BOOOOOMB SQUAAAAAAD!!!"
