Wilder vs Fury 2: Rematch in doubt after Fury suffers freak injury

The rematch between Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and WBC champion Deontay Wilder is reportedly in doubt after Fury suffered a freak training injury.

The highly anticipated rematch is scheduled for 22 February at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but the bout may have to be postponed yet again with Fury struggling to shake off an injury to his penis he suffered in training camp.

Fury shockingly revealed in the buildup to the fight that he had been masturbating a whopping 7 times a day in an effort to keep his testosterone levels up. But if the rumours are to be believed, it seems the 'Gypsy King' has consulted with the slippery serpent a few too many times this training camp.

According to a source, Fury was knocking out his sixth session of the day when he heard a loud crack and felt a tear in the shaft of his penis, immediately drawing blood and causing the Manchester fighter to scream in agony until he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Fury immediately underwent emergency surgery in the hopes of repairing serious rupture damage to his urethra and tunica albuginea, which covers the penis' erectile tissue.

The 6 foot 9 heavyweight was apparently told by doctors to refrain from any sexual activity for at least 6-8 weeks, so even if the fight were to go ahead he would need to find another way to boost his testosterone levels.
