Trace amounts of blood found in Jon Jones' steroid sample

More shock news involving ever-controversial UFC star Jon Jones today as trace amounts of blood were found in his steroid sample ahead of his hotly anticipated rematch with Alexander Gustafsson.

The disgraced two-time UFC Light Heavyweight champion, known for miserably failing drug tests on numerous occasions, was as surprised as anyone when he heard about the results:

"It's incredible. I've been working really hard on getting clean and this result shows it's starting to work, a little.

"It's the first time in a few years they've found anything but PEDs, cocaine or alcohol in there, so I'm really pleased.

"Hopefully by the time I'm 45 I'll test completely clean or it'll at least be a 50/50 split. For now I'll keep the partying and juicing to five days a week and see how it goes."

Perhaps nobody is as thrilled as UFC President Dana White, who likely would have allowed Jones to fight if he injected testosterone at the pre-fight press conferences.
