Though no official announcement has been made as to who the player might be, Arsenal defender David Luiz is the obvious contender in a total of 1,541 tests.
The Brazilian single-handedly lost his club the game against Manchester City last night after coming on as a substitute, giving the ball away to Sterling for the first goal, then being sent off for bringing Riyad Mahrez down in the box and conceding a penalty, which Kevin De Bruyne comfortably converted to make it 2-0. The 10-man Arsenal side would eventually lose 3-0 after a Phil Foden finish.
